Hi, am vandana mother of 9yr old daughter and 3mnths son. Supposed to resume work from oct'10. This is giving me jitters. Want to take the right decision. Quite confused, at one end have seen p[eople go bck leaving their 3 mnths and managing. Have no in laws for support, leaving hiom with Ayah seems like a crime. looking fwd to some advice

GOD BLESSED US (MYSELF AND MY HUSBAND) WITH A BABY GIRL IN JULY 2009. SHE IS NOW 11 MONTHS OLD AND STARTED STANDING ON HER OWN. WE CANNOT EXPRESS OUR HAPPINESS THE DAY WE SAW HER FACE. SHE DID NOT CRY MUCH AND I BREASTFED HER EVERYTIME TILL SHE REACHES 3 MONTHS. NOW I AM FEEDING HER WITH SOLID FOODS AND SHE TALKS MAMMA, APPA, TATA ETC. AND WE ARE REALLY THANKFUL TO GOD FOR GIVING US THIS HAPPINESS. NIGHT SLEEPS ARE LESS BUT I AM THRILLED IN THAT BECAUSE I AM AWAKE FOR MY SWEET HEART.

Hi
You can buy cerelac. Once you buy weat and one you buy rice. Just keep changing.
Boil some vegetable like carotte, onion and tomatoe and put in the mixer and feed him. You can put also different other vegetable and add rice or dal.
You can put fresh fruits like banana, apples, dates, etc and mixer and give to him.
Give him Biscuits. I think the best brand is britannia biscuit (5 grains).
Make fresh juice like orange or apples and give to him. You can put 3 dates in hot water for 2 hours the press them with a spoon, filter the water and give him. It is very good for hard toilet.

this was one of my long awaited dream which came true on 14th dec when i was blessed with a baby girl whom i named anoushka. she is my sweet little darling who has brought sheer luck for me. my entire life has changed after her arrival in my life.

HI . I M A MOTHER OF 16 MONTH BOY BABY CALLED HASAN . HE IS VERY CUTE AND ACTIVE.BUT SOMETIME HE IS VERY NAUGHTY BUT I LOVE MY BABY ANYTHING ELSE. HE MY SOUL. BUT THERE IS PROBLEM HE CAN'T SPEAK WELL, JUST LITTLE WORDS LIKE MAMA,ABBA, DADA, MA, AMMA ETC. SOME BODY CAN HELP MEABOUT THIS MATTER .

It was a thrilling experience to have a baby girl on 28th Apr 2009..she stared at me at her first glance and didnt cry at all. Infact she seemed to be thrilled to see me as her mom. but now she make me cry with all her naughty activities.

A Bliss To Be New Mom & Dad

I and my hubby are blessed with a bundle of joy, a baby boy on the 11th of Dec 2009. Personally my life has changed drastically since then. When a new baby makes its appearance in a family, it can be a challenge for both mom and dad to connect with the new baby. Lack of sleep and the other demands of being a new parent can wear thin on both fathers and mothers. It was the same feeling with me and my hubby.
I tend to have a better opportunity to get close to our new baby simply because I usually spend more time with him. And yet my hubby often feels a significant need to get close to our new baby, but have a challenge getting there.
Building an emotional contact with the new born is very important. Thru breast feeding, new mothers gets lots of quality touch and eye-contact time with the new born. She also has the benefit of post-partum hormones that give her natural bonding feelings. One needs to take steps to make quality bonding time with baby. While breastfeeding I hold the baby in a perfect location for baby’s vision. Repeated loving touch to my baby helps both of us connect faster and better.
My baby loves music. Though he is just 3months old, he finds it soothing and listens to it. Lullabies can be a real bonding experience also as you sing baby to sleep.
Me, being a very impatient person, find it difficult sometimes to face the new changes of being a new mother. Don't get discouraged as the process develops; the feelings of bonding are worth the wait, and will pay big dividends later.
The bundle of joy in our family has brought us smiles in our lives. Truly being new parents is a wonderful bliss.

I feel very happy to be a dad to my baby girl Jasna bcoz she gave a meaning my life as well as a wonderful moment which I felt yet..... I am enjoying my single moment with her. Now she is going to be 7 months. I thank god for this wonderful gift to us.

I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom
