My baby nowadays doesnt sleeps at night. she wants to go for a long drive and then go to sleep. If we try to ignore her then she doesnt lets any one at home to sleep at night. Till date this is her naughtiest activitiy which we cannot ignore. Everyday we try to make her sleep at home but finally late night we have to go for a drive.

Storing Homemade Baby Food
|

There are lots of good, high quality, organic baby foods out there, but making your own from scratch means that you'll know where it came from and what went into it. It's not difficult; just a little time consuming, but it can also give siblings, dads and grandparents something to contribute when they may be feeling left out of dealing with your new infant. You can make your own baby food easily using a food grinder or food processor. It's a fun way to make your baby a meal!
1. Homemade baby food looks better because it comes from fresh, homemade food. Factory packed baby food can't hold a candle to the broccoli that you steamed just ten minutes ago! And cereal products will be tastier made at home from ground oatmeal, cooked and puree barley and other whole grains. Just steam them and grind with a little water.
2. The colors are fresher, and you don't have to add preservatives. Just keep it in the fridge or make a lot at once and freeze it in tiny containers. Fill up ice cube trays with the pureed food, freeze them solid
and then store in ziplock bags. Label the bags so you'll know what's in them in a month or two, and if you're keeping track of potential food allergies, write the ingredients in magic marker right on the bags. When you're ready to feed the baby, take 2-4 cubes from the freezer, microwave them (usually 30-60 seconds, depending on the power of your microwave), check they're the right temperature and serve.
3. You can go organic without paying such high prices. A little baby sized bowl of your home made, organic, pureed spinach will cost you about a nickel instead of $2.00 or more. And it will taste good enough for even grownups to eat!
4. You can choose the ingredients! Spice up a recipe for ground carrots by adding a little apple or orange juice instead of blending the carrots with plain water. Make baby food from soft fruits like strawberries with yogurt. Don't bother with bananas, though. It's as simple to mash a banana on the spot as it is to create a banana puree that will just be watery and brown after processing and freezing. You can cook and puree meats, veggies, grains and fruits of your choice, knowing that your baby is getting the best baby food ever for less than half the cost of store-bought foods.
5. You can control your baby's nutrition and overall health better when you know what's in the baby food. With no preservatives, no added sugar or food colors, your baby food will be les likely to cause stomach upsets or allergic reactions in your child. And you can ease your baby into eating solid foods by grinding the baby food coarser over time

Baby suffering from Lauryngo Malacia

Hello,
Do anyone know about "Lauryngo Malacia" in kids. My baby is now in her 7th month. She is suffering from this. When she takes breath some snoring kind of sound comes. What my doc told is her wind pipe is not matured properly. It takes areound 1 to 1 and half year to be normal. May be coz of this if i give her food which is having lumps she is vomiting. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done and whether it is major or minor problem?

What my Baby Loves
|

My baby boy is 7+ months old. He is developing into a huge bundle of energy and he never seems to be getting tired after playing for the entire day. He loves his walker and run like crazy for end number of hours in his walker. He loves the sound of the A/C, all we need to do is switch the A/C on and he would go nuts and will want to stand in front of the A/C, absorb the chill and laugh like crazy. . .lol! The other thing that he has started doing is getting up on his own and sitting on his own, also; has started crawling as well. The worst part is that he wants to take everything in his mouth be that anything and hence, we have to be extra careful all the time. He is also very found of going on long drives in the car. All you need to do is that you should start the car and he would be shouting his throat out in expectation of going out. Once in the car he would be looking at the outside world calmly and will be the most decent chap on the planet he don't need food, milk or any eatable and can survive on the site of the outside world. . .lmao!

Please make due arrangements that the baby hould not be left wet during night as this will help him/her to sleep properly and hence will result in better growth. Sleep is an asset for the baby till a certain age.

Daddy and Baby's Communication
|

Fact: Dad's do rarely get time to get close with their babies.
Most of the time baby does not see Dad at home as he is out for work. So, in this situation whenever Dad gets time, he wants to use it to the fullest. What I have observed is that baby recognizes his dad by his voice (special names by which the baby is called by his Dad). While playing with the baby, try to make the similar kind of noises as the baby makes. Then he will try to repeat the same when he is in a good mood. Observe carefully what his likings are. Try to repeat the same things that brings smile on the baby's face. What I have observed in case of my baby is that he is very fond of Docomo advertisement music 'coz when I play it or suppose it is aired in TV then he swings himself. I try to make unusual faces some times to make him smile. It works and I too believe it works for other babies. try this out. call them by special names a few times and after some time they will get used to that and they start remembering all their names. So, next time when you call them by any of those names they will definitely react.
