Diaper or wipes rashes

Do not change the brand and type of diapers you have started to use on your baby. Better to start with your preferred Huggies range than other brands.
In India, Huggies wet or dry wipes are not marketed popularly except in baby shops. Even baby shops are sourcing from China, Taiwan, Thailand and other south asian countries that have a history of fake products. It is better to buy diapers & wipes that are popularly marketed here and are easily available in all cities and towns. This prevents the necessity to change a brand or type of diaper or wipes due to unavailability.

Buy a baby book or record to enter all the new & exciting things your baby does. After a few years, you and your baby will have a good time going through them.

care during teething

Hi,
During the teething phase babies do put evrything into their mouth which leads to the infection and disentry or vomiting.
One of the ways to avoid this is you can given Chilled Carrot stick to your baby to chew so that it relaxes his teeth itching and also he gets nutrients through its juice.
Sometimes even Jehsthi madh stick can also be given. This is obtained in any Ayurvedic shop.
But anytime you give any of these to your child please do not leave him unattended.
Regards,
Wrushali

Water feeding during first 3 months

Mother's milk contains 80% water along with necessary nutrients for the baby. Water does not help in any way for a baby's growth until the first 3 to 4 months. Ask your doctor when to start feeding water.

Breast pumps

Avoid breast pumps unless needed or recommended by your doctor or family. Manual breast pumps with rubber ball suction are a waste of money. They tend to suck effectively in less than a month. However clip type manual pumps are good to use and effective too.
Electric (DC or bettery operated) are best suggested in the opinion of comfort. Nevertheless, manual clip type breast pumps are also a good option.

I am very worry about him. Last 2 weeks , when he pass motion he bleeds. I had tried given him prum juice and force him to drink more water and even gave him the medicine from doctor to soften his stool but he still haven't pass motion. When he was 2 to 3 months old, he used to pass motion everyday. The milk powder is still the same. Now I just don't know how to make him pass motion everyday.I had tried many ways but no effect. Any suggestion?

Cell phone use near babies

Although popular comments advice not to use cell phones near babies, it is best to completely avoid cell phone use in the baby's room. The signals affect your baby's cellular growth and also disturbs it's sleep. Do not use your cell phone as a toy for your baby although babies are more curious to a cell phone's light and sound.

Baby's temperature

My little fellow is just over 3 weeks. With the weather changes, he's been having mild cough and cold and subjectively i feel, his body is quite warm most of the time. since, it tough to use a theremometer (unless when he's sleeping probably), its a little hard to tell if he's got fever. Any ways to tell if an under 6mth old is febrile, specially when there are no other prominent symptoms? Or is it that infants maintain a higher body temperature?

Baby suffering from Lauryngo Malacia

Hello,
Do anyone know about "Lauryngo Malacia" in kids. My baby is now in her 7th month. She is suffering from this. When she takes breath some snoring kind of sound comes. What my doc told is her wind pipe is not matured properly. It takes areound 1 to 1 and half year to be normal. May be coz of this if i give her food which is having lumps she is vomiting. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done and whether it is major or minor problem?

My son is 6 months old & he is suffering from running nose & cough for the past 4 days... He is not able to breathe properly in the night. Doctor has given Nasal drops, but still he advised me not to use that. If there is no other go, then only he advised me use nasal drops. So, is there any other medicine which can cure this, without any side effects? Thanks in advance.

My baby is 8.5months old and seems to keep having a running nose due to the climate here in Delhi. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how do I treat a running nose?
I have been applying Karvol Plus(liquid Vicks)to his clothes as suggested by the doctor but that does not seem to be helping.
Please help.
